Party Napkins

What You’ll Need:

• clean white cloth handkerchiefs
• 2 cups of cold strong tea, coffee, or fruit punch
• pins or tape
• cardboard
• permanent markers, fabric paints, or fabric markers

How to Make It:

1. With an adult’s permission, use a clean white cloth handkerchief for each napkin.

2. To dye the napkins, let them sit in 2 cups of cold strong tea, coffee, or fruit punch. When the napkins are the color you want, rinse them well under cold running water. Let them dry.

3. Pin or tape each napkin on cardboard.

4. Use permanent markers, fabric paints, or fabric markers to decorate the napkins.
